Résumé

This article aims at underlining the ability of an Event-Driven System to support the emergency response in context of crisis situations. The proposed approach consists on the one hand to model the business processes of the crisis response, and on the other hand to support the orchestration of these processes by using an Event-Driven System. The use of Event-Driven concepts can help the crisis management stakeholders in relieving them from non-value added tasks (by their automation) and in helping them to focus on the relevant information. Event-Driven techniques (such as Complex Event Processing) are very promising, even if very few research works consider them to improve emergency management. This paper tries to show their benefits by considering and applying these technologies on a nuclear use-case.
